ABOUT ME...

I made my first optic as Junior in High School when I made a 6" f/8 telescope for a metal machine shop project. I have been “hooked” on optics and Astronomy ever since, you could say I’m passionate about my work. I have been employed full time as an optician since 1980 when I moved to California to pursue a career in optics . In the time from 1980 to now I have manufactured thousands of precision optics, they are in use all around the world. You can find my optics being used, at one time or another, by many of the top rated telescope companies. In the past I have provided optics as an OEM supplier, now you can by directly from me or if you are having a telescope built, you can request that my optics be installed in your telescope.

I have always invested back into my business to keep the quality at the highest standards. Today my shop is equipped with the latest in Interferometry, in fact I have four interferometers in shop use. I will never mis-lead the consumer with unsubstantiated claims that I can’t verify. This is why I supply test data with every optic, not just a piece of paper, but with the use of my interferometers I include a photo (interferogram) as well as a computer generated data sheet. All my optics are serialized for you protection. I strive to make sure that my optics will not only provide you with countless hours of enjoyment but they will also be an investment that will hold value through out the years.
